Here are a few more pictures of Georgia and more family when she was born! My mom and older sister were here for the birth of Georgia. It was amazing and we wanted to add them to the blog as well.
We finally bought a baby carrier to use instead of taking the stroller out to walk. There was a little challenge to figuring out how to wear it, but once I got the hang of it things were looking up for Georgia and our walks. Baby carriers are a life saver btw.
The weather has been amazing here! Fall is here, but summer is still in the air. We decided to head to the mountains for some canoeing. One of the many reason why we love living in Central Oregon. Although Georgia did not partake in the canoeing she still took very well to the outdoors. Happy as a baby lamb. Kez was one HAPPY Lab to be out and canoeing as well. He loves the water and loves to ride in the canoe. Ryan and Kris took off without him and he starting to swim after them. No body leaves Kez behind.
One more set of grandparents come to visit Baby Koch! Ryan's Dad and Mary, along with Unckie K, Ryan's brother. GA has got a lot of grandparent names to learn soon.
Our good friends Ralph and Ann Marie were also pregnant the same time we were and had their beautiful little Nora a week before Georgia. Ralph works with Ryan as a jumper and Ann Marie is a nurse at the Bend hospital. We seem to like to have major events in our life within a week apart. Ralph and Ann Marie also got married a week before we did. It has been fun! They decided to pay us a visit and have the girls hang out for their first time. They are too cute! So are the parents :)
It's our first blog and who better to start one about then our new BABY GIRL!
On October 6th, 2008 at 11:21 am our little baby decided to arrive. We named her Georgia Anne Koch and she weighed 6 lbs 4 oz. She is beyond cute!
Ryan and I headed to the hospital around 2:30 am and were admitted at 3:00 am. From then on I was in hard labor until 9:35 am. And with some hard pushing for about 45 mins she blessed us with her beautiful self. FUN TIMES.
Georgia's first night home was of course with little sleep, but once we realized all she wanted to do was eat we finally got some sleep. Maybe three hours. We were on a baby high and our body's didn't mind a bit that we were sleep deprived.
Georgia is now five days old and is doing well and so are we!
Please continue to check out our new blog as we will try to keep it updated with new pictures and new stories.
