Rewind

A couple of videos around Georgia's Birthday. Her birthday party was a little crazy and I didn't take many pictures, but here is what we have before her birthday and day of. Georgia did have a great party with lots of kids and adults. Let's just say we probably will start having her parties some where other than our house. Bring on the jumping gym ;)

A Nome

Halloween

We decided to stay home for Halloween. Georgia had fun handing out candy. It took her some time to warm up to the costumes and when she did get use to the visitors she started to say Trick or Treat the whole time she was giving out candy.
Lately she loves to play hide -n- seek and she would run into the kitchen and act like she was hiding and then run out when people knocked on the door, screaming the whole way, WHEW!

We also decided to visit the High Desert Museum to check out the new Butterfly Exhibit. The Butterflies were amazing and Georgia was very curious about their wings.

The County Fair

The County fair was this weekend and we managed to make it there twice. Our main focus was to see the animals; pigs, goats and horses oh my. The other part of course was to devour some yummy fair food. Georgia was a crazy girl at the fair and definitely expresses an adventurous personality like her daddy. She had no hesitation about getting on the rides, cried when the rides stopped and wanted more ever time. The below clip was the first ride she took and I think the adults had just as much fun watching her as she did on the ride.

Ooooo The County Fair full of fun, food and Georgia.

Hello Friends and Family, summer is going by fast yikes. We wanted to post about Georgia and I's trip back east. We visited my sisters with their kids in Rome, Georgia. We were also down there to remember our amazing Grandmother, Clara P. Highnote, better know as MalMal. She pasted away in April. It was humid, humid, humid and HOT! Gotta love the south.

Recently

Ready from some whiplash??? That is code for I am blogging from now to the past. I wanted to show you some recent pictures of GA and us. We celebrated Father's Day by taking DADDY to our favorite breakfast place, One Street Down or as DADDY likes to call it "One Cafe Down".
The next couple of pictures were taken last week. Ryan and Georgia were picking strawberries in the backyard. Our ever growing stash of fresh strawberries is delicious. Each year they get better:)

I love my Daddy :) smooch

Oops Some Fell Out of the Bowl

Hello Again!

WOW! Two months went by too quickly. So here is the skinny on what we've been up to.
In May we went to San Francisco to check up on Uncle Irvin's empty apartment and also to pick up some items for keepsake. Ryan and his family helped Uncle Irvin move out and settle in Decatur, IL. We were blessed with sunny 70 degree weather every day. It was AWESOME! Visited with an old friend from College,Holly, (Georgia liked to say her name, pretty cute and funny) walked over the golden gate bridge, randomly became spectators of the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, went on a boat ride, viewed the most amazing fish at the Pier 39 Aquarium, and more!!! It was beyond fun!

The lovely smelling Sea Lions where out looking their finest.

Well we didn't exactly walk across the whole bridge, lets just say we did half :)

Waiting for our boat ride to see the bay!

Cool, a tunnel of fish. Georgia has now been to the aquarium in San Francisco and the amazing aquarium in Chattanooga, TN, pictures of that aquarium to come later. Let's just say she might grow up to be a marine biologist or a Fisherwoman.

The local dinner, where Georgia ate her first HOT DOG!

Stayed tuned for a recap of our next adventures.

Easter 2010

We celebrated Easter on Saturday, because Ryan was leaving Sunday to go down south for work. Georgia did a little Easter egg hunting in the backyard and she caught on pretty quick.

Her favorite part of course was eating the treats inside, yogurt covered raisins. Yummy

More eggs please!

Where did March GO!

Hello Friends and Family,

I have to apologize for not posting lately, March got away from us before we knew it and now it's April. Wheww! and Guess WHAT! we are pregnant again ........................................

Ha ha just kidding HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY:)

We do get asked this question a lot though.

Anyhoo, Georgia keeps us plenty busy and is into all kinds of things. She adds to her vocabulary list everyday, dada, fish, orange juice, please and she just put a sentence (well a tiny one) together last night. "Bye Dada". We ask Georgia to say all kinds of words to see how she does. She will say them in her own baby jargon and only say it once until the next day. She loves to play hide n seek with Daddy and screams at the top of her lungs when he comes after her. I will catch it on video one of these days. She has Ryan's running genes. She's fast! After bath-time is when she gets crazy. She recently discovered spinning in circles. Hilarious!!!!! She spins and spins and then tries to walk and of course; plop, whack oops honey watch out for the kitchen cabinets.

I will be posting pics next time :)

Georgia sends her love to all.

Snowshoeing

The weather is gorgeous here so we went snowshoeing last weekend up to Tumalo Mountain which is across from Mt. Bachelor. It was perfect, well until we were almost to the top. Georgia was getting a little upset, tired? But we made it and it was a good hike.

A dad and dog moment :)

Funny look there Kez

Georgia was not too happy because she couldn't walk in the snow with all her gear on. She tried to and then just sunk into the snow.

Georgia with her happy face on.

Florida

Our first trip to kick off the new year and we headed to Florida, the sunshine state, but it was surprisingly overcast, rainy and a bit chilly. It was a great trip nonetheless. We went down to visit Great Uncle Bill and Aunt Bette. (and unkie K met us down there for the fun) Georgia was awesome on the plane, checking everybody out and looking out the window. She loves the airports. The highlight on the trip for Georgia was the OCEAN. Her first time to see it. She went straight for it and no stopping. She must of thought it was one big bath tub of water :)

Georgia thought Bette was quite a character.

An old toy becomes a new one

We've had the stroller for a while and she had no big interest in it until now. GA decided it is fun to push around and bang into things. Look out Kezki and Griz.

What has Georgia Been Up To?

Hello Family and Friends. We are all doing well and Georgia has become our source of entertainment. She runs around the house babbling all the time and playing with the animals. She loves her nightly routine of bathing and epically brushing her teeth. Everyday is something new with her hair, it grows like the jungle. And of course she likes to get food all in it, lovely for us :).
Books, Books and more books she can't get enough of reading. At this point, even her fits of frustration are funny. She throws herself down and then wiggles around for a bit. Her face says it all.

Below Georgia realizes how much she misses her old car seat. Well she definitely doesn't like them when we put her in it ha ha

A play date with our good friend Nora!

One of my many crazy hair days.

I make this look good.

Quality Time with Unkie K

Christmas 09

Its amazing how much a baby can grow in a year! Georgia has changed so much and is showing her own little personality. Check out the picture below from Christmas 2008.

Here she is with Unkie K in 2009.

The crazy hat family!

TREEEEEEE

Vacation

Time to blog and show you what we have been up to. Wow sorry it has been a while since we have posted about Georgia. She definitely keeps us busy. Ryan and I took a trip to St. Lucia for a little R&R. It was fabulous!!! We recommend the Sandals Halcyon beach anytime or better yet any Sandals resort is amazing. A few pics from our trip with our good friends Raylene and Dusty.
Sandals is an all inclusive resort meaning that our food, drinks, water sports, snorkeling, etc was all included. The food was amazing.

The best thing about all inclusive is there is never a check to take care of and the tipping was included too so no tipping just eat and leave, love it!

OMG, for those of you that remember the movie Romancing the Stone (Micheal Douglas) Part of the movie was filmed here, I guess the part where they are trying to find the stone.

We fell in love with sailing, got out on the hobby cat everyday. Fun times.

The local attraction and their beer is named after it as well. The PITONS.

Golfing was a treat we had our own caddies.

The town of Soufiere.
